May 14, 201412 yr For what it's worth I have transmission running fine on unraid, so you can either give more description and we can help troubleshoot, or you can use the very good deluge plugin.
May 14, 201412 yr I have been using transmission with unRAID 5 for months without issues and it works great with couchpotato and sickbeard. Your signature says your are usings unRAID 5.0-rc12a, If that is true you should upgrade to the most up to date unRAID 5. You can download a Deluge plugin but to be honest it is more complicated to get working properly with couchpotato (it can be done but you have to do a lot more work than with transmission)
May 15, 201412 yr Author The last transmission plugin I downloaded conflicted with unraid, and I was left without access to management page of unraid. To be honest, I don't remember who's plugin was it already. Which transmission plugin did you guys use? I believe influencers have this? Does it play well with unraid? Is Deluge a better torrent client? I'll see if I can upgrade my unraid to latest stable version.
May 15, 201412 yr I used the attached influencer plugin on unRAID 5.0.5 without issues. Just remove the .txt on the end to install it. Deluge gives you more options and I think most people would agree that Deluge is superior to Transmission; however, the Transmission plg is much easier to setup and just leave it alone in the background. Unless Deluge has some special plugin you need, I would just use Transmission and call it a day. transmission_unplugged.plg.txt
