May 16, 201412 yr Yo, Added 2 new WD red 3TB this week, preleared both disks without any errors. -Then added them to the array, moved a bunch of data to disk nr 10 and now a few days later I start up my server and I get a redball on one of the brand new disks! Tried switching the faulty disk to another port on my Norco4224, but to no avail! Please help, is this truly a faulty disk or someting to do with unraid? Running 5.0.5 Thanks!
May 16, 201412 yr Author Can I remove disk 11 (second red) and use that to replace disk 10? It's still empty!
