May 18, 201412 yr Premise: Nano is supposed to resize itself when you resize the Putty window making it easier to see and work with long lines Observations: Logged into Unraid: Nano resizes as expected Logged into Unraid and use xl console: Nano does NOT resize as expected Logged into vm directly Nano resizes as expected. I'm not sure how to fix this, but for now, anyone getting annoyed at truncated long lines in Nano while working inside their VM will do best to log into it directly and not through xl console from an unraid session. I've attached a picture for basic visual of what I mean.
May 18, 201412 yr never had nano, top, htop and other resize when using xl console - I always ssh direct into the appliance and then everything resizes as expected.... Myk
May 18, 201412 yr Author yeah I'm pretty sure those others resize fine. but Nano specifically was not and it is very annoying. worse it was "inconsistent" because i had multiple sessions open, some in unraid, some in xl console, and some direct. But I didn't make the connection until this morning.
