May 19, 201412 yr Server was up and working fine for weeks. Went to sleep automatically a couple of days ago. I woke it up today and initially had Windows network access, but, no telnet and no web access. Did a hard reboot and now no network access either. I can ping the server so it is alive on the network, but, I cannot access it in any way. I can watch it boot on the monitor. It appears to come up fine. I'll try to get a syslog. I am running UnRAID 5.05 and Dynamix/unmenu web interface. Has been running fine for many weeks; now, nothing after waking up. Off to bed. It's late. Of course, this would happen the night before I was going to take down the system and prepare it for shipping to Mexico where I will be living for three years. Movers come tomorrow morning to pack up everything I need to ship. Can't take the server as a carry-on. I won't see it for another another six weeks as it takes 35-45 days to get all the household good through customs and i don't arrive in Mexico until June 26. I may be back trying to get this problem solved in six weeks from now as I am about to lose the system. I can map a drive to the flash boot device, but, not to any shares. Any last minute (very literally) advice?
May 19, 201412 yr You did a Hard Reboot! try: shutdown pull the flash drive Pop the flash in a PC (mac) run chkdsk (disk utility) put the flash back in unRAID boot unraid Hurry! The movers are coming! Be sure to shutdown properly before packing it up!

The movers are coming! Be sure to shutdown properly before packing it up! Yeah, well, hard reboot was my only option. No web access, no telnet and no console access at the time. When I restarted, I at least had console access. There was no activity on the array so, I don' think the hard reboot caused too much harm. Server is now dismantled. This just became an early July project.
May 20, 201412 yr Yeah....sorry you ran out of time. In July, you'll want still want to run chkdsk on the flash drive.
