Best app to use for email notifications with beta 6

Featured Replies

I'm currently running 6b5 and would like to know what app to use to get email notifications, specifically when a disk dies.

Searching the forums leads me to believe that there isn't a standard app for this, Dynamix's web ui seems to have email notifications but only for version 5. I'd hope this would be standard in unRAID by now.

Last time I tried unmenu, it didn't have any access restriction, such, any user can connect to its web interface. It is still the same? I rather not let random users access to unmenu.

I think you should be able to set up unmenu grab and configure the package, then comment out the unmenu line from your go script but leave the lines that automatically runs/installs the tgz files.

Sent from a mobile device, sorry for any typos.
