Not sure why but plex dlna does not show up on client machines with Unraid 6 using plex 64, also tried with arch and Ubuntu VM still not showing up, went back to unraid 5 with plex package from plex site works perfectly, not sure what is blocking dlna in unraid 6

Just a shot in the dark... when you re-installed on unraid 6, did you check the box for DLNA?

I don't know, but I had been happily running minidlna as a v5 plugin.  When v6 arrived, I moved minidlna to an Arch Linux VM, and it became very unreliable until I fiddled with the IGMP setting on my router.

 

I am in the process of playing with a Huawei B593, with the view of moving from adsl to LTE (if I can get an LTE signal here).  If the Huawei doesn't have IGMP I might have to look at adding that functionality to my Raspberry Pi/Arch Linux network support.
