[SOLVRD] unRAID 6b5a/unMENU 1.6 parity problem

Featured Replies

Over the weekend I setup a computer to test unRAID 6b5a. As part of the build, I installed the latest unMENU. I let unRAID perform a parity check overnight. This morning when I checked on it I see that the parity is valid as expected, however unMENU claims "Last parity check  16238  days ago with no sync errors."

That may have been the initial parity build, which is not really a check. Try running a check and see if the results update.

Yes, this is normal. I just built a new system for a family member 2 weeks ago and saw the same thing. As jonathanm mentioned you see this after a parity build, but you still have not actually checked the parity. Once you go through a proper check of the parity you just built, then it should display correctly.

I started another Parity check last night before going to bed. This morning unMENU says "Last parity check < 1 day ago with no sync errors."

Thanks,

Jim
