Bad Drive and New Parity Disk

I'm running version 6.0 beta 3 with a 3TB parity disk, 6 data disks of various sizes and a cache disk. Disk 1 has failed and is a 2 TB disk. I would like to replace my parity disk with a 4TB disk and then use the old 3TB parity disk to replace the bad disk 1.  Is that possible or do I have to replace disk 1 with a 3TB or smaller disk first and then replace the parity disk? I don't really want to buy another 3TB disk.
