June 21, 201412 yr After upgrading to 5.0.5 from 5.0rc11 it appears the onboard lan stopped working, I can login locally but can't telnet to the server, running ifconfig dosn't show the lan card. What's strange is that the hardware on this server is almost identical to other I upgrade last week without any problems Asrock B75 Pro3-M Bios P1.6 Celeron G540 4Gb DDR3 2 x AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 other server that 5.0.5 works is almost the same except the cpu and the AOC cards, SAS-MV8 instead of SAS2-MV8 Asrock B75 Pro3-M Bios P1.6 Celeron G550 4Gb DDR3 2 x AOC-SASLP-MV8 Syslog attached syslog_t2.txt
June 21, 201412 yr Author Well I don't know what the problem was but I reformated the usb drive and booted with a clean 5.0.5 and the lan was working, I copied my old config dir and still works, so problem solved.
