February 14, 200917 yr As you know, CC is going out of business. I was looking around, and say they had several large (1800VA to 1300VA models) for good prices, after the 40% is knocked off.
February 14, 200917 yr i read something that said the liquidation company that is handling the closing went in and jacked up the prices before everything went on sale. It said to wait as long as possible to buy anything at CC so you can be sure your getting a good deal. Compare prices before doing anything!

February 15, 200917 yr i picked up 2 of the bx1300lcd for $96. i have my macpro, 2 24" lcd, my unRaid server (17 hard drives and two power supplies) plus other misc. hooked up to it and it shows about 60% load right now. i think they are a good deal. christopher
February 15, 200917 yr Good deal. I have been running a 1300VA for about a year and survived a few thunderstorms where the lights dimmed in the rest of the house. The primary benefit may be peace-of-mind, of course. Bill
