June 30, 201412 yr I have a SuperMicro 933 board which uses PCI-X cards. This looks like the PCI-X version of a fairly popular card. Can anyone tell me if this card has can accept 4TB drives? or is the drive limit solely determined by UNRAID?
June 30, 201412 yr Since I'm using 3TB drives with the two I have in one of my arrays I would say you should be good with the 4TB drives.

July 3, 201412 yr I'm using about 18 of 4 TB drives (Seagates, WDs, HGSTs) with AOC-SAT2-MV8 cards. They work. The only thing is that during the boot process, the cards report hard drives as being 2 TB. But that's screen report only, drives are working fine.
