[OUTDATED] Extended Docker configuration page

Featured Replies

I like your new updater!  I noticed when I clicked on needo/nzbmegasearch:latest it said it updated but did not show that on the config page like the others did. It still showed N/A.

You are right. Since it relies on the <Registry> info from the built in templates, it will not manage the update status, since there's not a NzbMegaSearch built in template.

That's right I had made nzbmegasearch, maraschino and XBMCServer config files myself.

[glow=red,2,300]UPDATE[/glow]

Version 2014.08.04:

- Fix: errors were presented in the main page while Docker stops;

- Fix: error with updates - old images remained as <none>:<none>;

- Add: auto update mode: the reload button now auto updates the plugin;

[glow=red,2,300]NOTICE[/glow]

Since my vacation is over, this plugin will be feature freeze for a while (it's pretty complete already, I think...). Only bugs and submitted templates will be included.

Thanks for everything!

Thank you for all your hard work!  You have made working with Dockers so easy anyone can do it!

Excellent work !

Did you add needo/PlexConnect template to it?  I don't need it, but other people might.

gfjardim:  Hi, is there a reason that the Extended Docker Config doesn't have a template for PlexConnect by needo ? I still used the Extended page for creating it, but I manually filled in the template.

Short answer: I don't use it.

Long answer: I don't have the expertise and the hardware to test it.

Maybe you can share your xml in this topic: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34010.0

How do I edit files that are part of the docker install? For example, I installed transmission and I would like to edit the settings.json. Where can I find this file to edit?

It would be wherever you set the /config directory to be.

Yup, you are correct. My cache folder was not as up to date as my /mnt/user/cache/appdata folder.

Next question. Is it possible to run a custom branch of SickBeard using the Sickbeard Template? specifically, git://github.com/coach0742/Sick-Beard.git

I like the ones with more torrent support. I would like to use SickRage but it is so buggy for me (It will not find imdb show data to add new shows...)

The extender docker configuration plugin (I.e. The plugin whose thread were on now) has a preconfigured sickrage docker config.

Select it off the drop down list, make any changes you need, then click add and bingo, there it is...

I did try and use the prebuilt docker for SickRage from the extender config. I am having issues with it timing out when it tries to locate new TV shows though.

Next question. Is it possible to run a custom branch of SickBeard using the Sickbeard Template? specifically, git://github.com/coach0742/Sick-Beard.git

It looks like I could edit Needo's docker file and put in a different github url. If I do this, is there a way to load my edited docker file to the templates on the extender docker list or would I have to manually install my file?

Just put it into the /boot/config/plugins/Docker folder.

I have a link to an example config at my page - http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34009.0 and there is more info in the docker page - https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/smdion/docker-upstatsboard/.  Feel free to PM me for any help.

Is there a way to add a flag on the Dockman page to show there is an upgrade available to the plugin itself ?  I know it's only a couple of mouseclicks away to lock for it in the Plugin page but my index finger is lazy..  ;)

The Verify Updates button already updates the plugin itself when needed.

Perfect. I should have realised you had thought of that already.

I really hope LT adopt, or at least don't try to create a competing plugin to yours.  It's so feature rich and slick at the moment that it would be a waste of everyone's times to try and create an alternative.

I don't know the plans of LT, but if Tom decentralize the some parts of unRAID's features, it can be more focused on user's need (see the webui itself and the work of speeding_ant), but I understand he has his own business decisions to make. Let's see what is his view for Docker; maybe it's something better than I can offer to you, guys.

For now, we have this plugin, that I hope has been as helpful to you as it's to me.

Don't seem to be able to install dockerMan.plg.

All I see is:

/usr/local/sbin/plugin install dockerMan.plg 2>&1

plugin: installing: dockerMan.plg

Warning: simplexml_load_file(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "dockerMan.plg" in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/plgMan/plugin on line 125

plugin: warning: no name attribute, installing anyway

plugin: xml parse error

I tried to install it through the Extension menu. Where should I put the .plg?

To install the gfjardim Extended Docker Configuration plugin, go to the Extensions tab on the unRaid webgui.

Copy and paste the following in the install extensions box:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gfjardim/dockers/dockerMan/dockerMan/dockerMan.plg
