July 1, 201412 yr Guys I have installed a crashplan plugin on my v5 unraid. It reports its running. However I have tried to tunnel into it from my windows box/frontend (the tunnel via ssh is ok) it refuses to connect. I have tried to install the crashplan gui but it reports I have to use the no check option and I am yet to workout how I do that as I am running a PLG. (if you run an INSTALLPLG and it comes back and mantions the security cert, where do I add the NO CHECK option) So can someone suggest something? I know thats an open question and I havent given you enough info so ask away but for the life of mee, I cant see whats wrong.
July 1, 201412 yr Author after a lot of tinkering I did a netstat and found although unraid said it was running, it wasnt listening. So I ended up doing an install with no package using instructions from http://www.lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=CrashPlan and its up and running for now. Lets see what happens when I reboot but it works and I am backing up to it
July 3, 201412 yr Author Well I thought it was working and in fact it partially works. Can anyone help. I have attached a network diagram to help XP3 and XP 4 can back up to the UNRAID unit. The 2 xp's are on a different subnet But xp1 and xp2 cannot. these are on the same subnet as the tower It keeps saying detination unavailable - backup location is not accessible but I can ping it, ftp to it, attach network drives etc. From xp1 xp2 I can backup to either of the pcs on the other side of the router (either xp3 or 4) Both XP1 and XP2 show the unraid box (TOWER) being online. Stuffed if I know why
