Influencer/UNplugged Plugins Fixed Unraid 5.0x

Please try Phaze's plugins because he seems to maintain them

After many users having issues with the Influencers plugins being out-dated and even broken after i went through them i have done some fixes till he gets the time to fix them. The only plugin i didn't have to edit was anetwait because its just a script I have attached them and you can grab the zip's for the ones you want. I don't take any credits for anything and the people who made and worked on the packages, i have simply just fixed his plugins to work since gethub.com security certificate issues. The only other thing was 2 mistakes made by him with image files being named incorrectly effecting 2 plugins.

Installing:

 

Method 1 with a windows or mac machine no previous plugin installed (Newbie way to install)

 

1.Insert your unraid usb stick into your machine

2.move into your folder e:\config\plugins e: being your usb unraid stick in this example, if plugins folder does not exist make one in e:\config\ and make sure it is lower case as the file system is case sensitive.

3. Unzip your plugin and place it in the plugins folder e:\config\plugins, e: being your usb unraid stick in this example so if you wanted the transmission plugin it would look like e:\config\plugins\transmission_unplugged.plg

4. Put the usb stick back into your unraid server and start it up

5. Look under settings in your unraid control panel and you will see your new apps,just click on them and do whatever with there settings you need to do.

 

*To upgrade plugins or to use the ones here just copy and replace

 

Method 2 Using terminal example with telnet and putty vai shell commands

 

1. connect to the server

2. login as root

3. cd /boot/config/plugins if this folder does not exist make one by mkdir /boot/config/plugins

 

To remove old plugin after going into /boot/config/plugins use the commands ls -l to get the name then delete the old plugin with rm /boot/config/plugins/transmission_unplugged.plg transmisson being an example. Reboot if you had to remove an old plugin and login again

 

4. Copy the plugin to the plugin folder in this example my plugin tansmission plugin is unziped to /mnt/disk1/temp and is /mnt/disk1/temp/Transmission_unplugged.plg so to copy it into the pluging use the command cp /mnt/disk1/temp/Transmission_unplugged.plg /boot/config/plugins

5. exit out of shell reboot server vai unraid menu and your right to go

 

Method: Other ways and advanced

 

I use midnight commander because it can be used over a remote terminal like telnet with mouse support and is idiot proof its a gui file manager and i was bought up using it from the dos port to *nix give it a go, just login as root local on your unraid machine or remote by telnet ect and type mc

 

Do a local install on your unraid machine if you have a keyboard and display hooked up, follow method 2 but without the terminal login stuff

 

If you cant be bothered unzipping use wget while in your plugin directory so like wget couchpotato_v2_unplugged.plg

Please don't use a browser because it will more then like corrupt the .plg and name it whatever.plg.htm if you dont wanna use the forum attachments please use the following and get the zips if using a web browser, this is my server bandwidth so dont exploit my love for unraid users by wasting it.

 

 

 

Plugin Notes: Transmission uses the folders /mnt/disk1/downloads for downloaded and /mnt/disk1/incomplete by default with my edits you can change this by editing /boot/config/plugins/transmission/settings.json or edit the plg file and set there The reason i do it this way is because i haven't had any luck with trans remote applying path changes . First stop transmisson in the unraid gui and then edit it. For transmission remote set the paths as /mnt/disk1/downloads and /mnt/disk1/incomplete

 

Notes:

 

1. I haven't tested most of these so can't say if any other issues in his scripting exist besides the gethub.com issue and maylar and gamez plugin incorrect png naming issue.

 

2. I will try to update plugins the best i can when i get the time, like transmission version. I'll get another machine going tommorow for full testing and also start on plugin updates. Please note my time is limited so i can only do my best.

 

3. Files that where on gethub.com are on my own personal host http://prphotography.net to get past the gethub issue. I will make at set off plugs that use a local install for these files to future proof.

 

4. I'am a novice with *nix and will just be doing what i can, thank the people behind the work not me for simple fixes.

 

5. Report any issues here so i can take a look and others to keep things working and updated till Influencer can get back to maintaining and working on his plugins
