I saw youtube video where under kvm there are two video cards and one of them is assigned to windows guess.  Then once windows shutdowns video goes back to linux. Right know I have script that assigns sound card and usb3 to windows guest. I have second script that should return devices  back to linux. Is there a way to execute script after guest shutdown ?

Tritron,

Didn't expect to see you popping up over here.

As far as unRAID goes, they are getting real close with Xen. Missing some patches (should be in the next release) and scripts (that make life easier). Having said that, if you are really bored with Arch, want to jump ship to a superior Linux Distro like Slackware (Kidding), want to spend the next month writing a Slackware Build Script for Xen and compiling a million dependencies... I bet a couple of users here would pay you. LOL!

Anyway, thanks again for all your hard work on staying up on all the latest with Xen and creating / maintaining the Xen-Git package (applying patches, tweaks, scripts, etc.) for us Arch Linux users.

Hmm, is this about how to do this with KVM on unRAID or a generic KVM question?

I had figured out how I can unbind and rebind cards. i have couple scripts that will remove drivers and unbind pci cards. I have sound card and usb 3.0 assigned to win 8.1 and R9 270. I boot my workstation to kde  that I press key combo and that starts winstart.sh I wait and windows 8.1 shows up. Now I have this script winstop.sh it unbinds pci devices and loads drivers.  I want to figure out how to execute winstop.sh script after domu shuts down. I wonder if I can place it in configuration file or have script run and check status of domu xl.

I think that most users of unraid xen will have primary storage running then assign vga card to vm running htpc and add workstation running on same unraid.

I will upload upgraded version of arch linux xen-git it allows to pass video card wih qemu upstream and use more than 4 gb of ram.
