Suddenly slow performance -

Featured Replies

Running 4.4 for a few weeks and have loved this thing - just added two more 1.5tb drives yesterday (total of 7 now including parity) and copied a couple of large (20gb) files over this morning with no problems. I was seeing transfer rates in the 14-20mb/sec range and thought things were going great. Set up another file tranfer before work, looked at it 10 hours later and nothing had moved over. Started another transer and was seeing things in the 150kb/sec range (not good!). Rebooted and things are about the same. Tried both new discs and see the same behaviour. I tried to attach a syslog, but the upload folder is full - so I posted it here:

Hope someone can help!

I'm afraid I can't help.  I took a look at your syslog, and as far as I can see, there are NO errors or issues apparent.  Can you confirm that this syslog was captured *after* periods of very slow transfers?  If the problem is within your unRAID server, there should be disk or other errors showing, and there aren't.  You might try the ifconfig eth0 console command, and check for clean networking, 0 errors and collisions.  Try more testing, from different stations on your network.
