I have run out of Sata ports on my mobo so I am looking at adding a AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 8 port sata card so I can add extra drives

 

my question is do i need to do anything regarding making sure drives are connected to the same sata ports etc, or will unRaid know by drive serials etc and I can just connect all drives back up to any port?

    If you're on unraid 5 or higher sata ports don't matter, drives are identified by serial number.
