July 6, 201411 yr I cannot install Air Video. unMenu indicates the package is downloaded, but not yet installed. Clicking on the install button seems to do nothing. However, the installation log indicates severAL packages have been installed, but the last entry states, "The C compiler has not been installed. ffmpeg compile not possible." There is this additional checksum message, the "download may be corrupted or download URL no longer valid." I tried to download the package again, but the web page states the requested resource is not available. The words, "C Compiler" seems a little familiar, but the problem for me with unRaid (also unMenu) is that it just keeps going and going, requiring little mainIinance. The years pass and my memory fails me (old age). A brief search was not to helpful. I am running unRaid v 5.05, Dynamix, and unMenu. Help would be appreciated.
July 6, 201411 yr Try installing "GCC (Gnu C Compiler)" plugin, if one is available before you try Air Video.
July 6, 201411 yr Before i switched to unRAID v6b6 i was using 5.05 w/Dynamix and overbyrn's plugin without any problems... i dont think the airvideo pkg from unmenu for v5 is still working but could be wrong. Anyway overbyrn's v5 airvideo plugin can be found here: https://github.com/overbyrn/UnRAID/blob/master/airvideo_overbyrn.plg
July 7, 201411 yr Author Thanks, all, for the tips. I was not aware with the issues with unMenu. I will just download the plugin from overbyrn. Thanks
