So I have the latest 5.0.5 version of Unraid running fine, with Plex and Plex Updater.  Everything is going smoothly, no complaints.  I decided I wanted to try Sickbeard, Couch potato, and SABnzdb to help automate my system for movies and tv shows.  I have had nothing but headaches trying to get these installed!  bare in mind I am new to UNRaid and linux in general, I have been searching and trying to find an answer but to no avail.

 

I follow all the directions as stated in every walk through tutorial.  I install all 3 plg files into the plugin folder and restart the server.  After the Plex server comes up, I usually see a "cannot verify github.com's certificate or get a destination host unreachable while trying to download all 3.  (I have tried doing it manually as well but same result)  Basically it messes up the server to the point where it changes my IP as well, having it set to DCHP.  It'll change my IP to something not on my network so I cannot connect to the server through any of my PCs.  I have to manually go in and set a static IP address to reset it.  I don't know if I have several issues going on, or just am doing something wrong while trying to install these programs, but basically it's not reaching the host site to download upon restart of the server.

 

Any help would be appreciated.  I can live without the programs, however I'd love to try new things since diving into the UNraid world.

Not sure how your router could be assigning an IP not on your network. More likely you're just not getting DHCP. I usually have my router reserve an IP address for each wired mac address for all of the wired devices on my network.

 

What version of the plugins are you using? I think the one's by phaze are the latest.
