OK, I am about to stick this on ebay, but thought I would offer it here first.

 

I am selling my HP Microserver Gen7

 

I have modded the BIOS to allow full speed SATA on the optical disk drive SATA port and replaced the original ODD cover with a vented faceplate with cooling fans. To be honest it ran so cool when I used it I disconnected the power to the fans as they were not needed.

 

Included in the sale is a spare chassis - with the original top section where the ODD sits, so this can be returned to original appearance if required.

 

I am including UnRAID Plus on a Kingston USB key. All the disks included in the sale have been precleared.

 

Installed is a 2Tb parity disk and 3 x 1Tb disks.

 

All in all a bargain, in my opinion... see images below.

 

All this for £325 - I am in the UK and will ship next day courier for an extra £10.

I am interested in picking up your empty chassis, assuming it is a complete chassis, not just the top piece.

 

I am not interested in the microserver though.
