Hi, I recently took a look at my log and found these errors http://pastebin.com/ye8EhEVu

Attached is the smart report including the short smart test I ran which failed. My current thinking is that the drive is in fact failing, but I would really like someone to double check me on this. I have checked all sata and power connections and those seem ok. So my questions are, is it failing or is there another issue? Also, if it is failing, should I try to pull the data off it with another machine and place it on a newly precleared disk? Or should I rebuild from parity on a newly precleared disk?

I meant to say that the short smart test had a read failure, not that it failed completely.

Rebuild on to a newly precleared disk. Then run a parity check. Save the old disk until the parity check is completed. Then run pre-clear on the old disk and try the SMART test again.
