July 13, 201411 yr I have been having this problem for a while now... I have no idea what is causing it. I cannot access Transmission. I can't access the "tower" link through the IP address that I use, and I just can't seem to figure it out. I've restarted the server many times... I just installed the powerdown script and tried to run it and the notification it came back with was something can't be found /root/hd(a-z) (I'm sorry I should have recorded it but I didn't. I went to the server and captured a picture of what is showing on the screen... it says over and over "PHP Notice: undefined variable", to me this seems like there is something awefully wrong with something on there... Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I should do? I've trawled through the trouble shooting and the only thing that it says is to go to windows/system32/ and change the hosts file there, but that didn't work. I am in the process of trying to shut down the server manually using telnet. I have typed "sync" as my latest command, and we all know how long that takes (is it supposed to take days? I have 10 2TB HD's in there... Please help! I know someone's going to ask me to put up my syslog but I can't currently access my drive in the middle of the sync
July 13, 201411 yr Author How long does it usually take to sync?? I'll leave it over night but should that be long enough? I'm first going to upgrade to the newest version - I haven't done that so that might resolve my problem, didn't know it had been updated and I'm only on 4.9. something.
