Parity check drives spun down (Solved)

Im running a Parity Check with write corrections enabled. From about 80% of the Parity check being completed all the drives except the Parity are spun down and it is reading from the Parity disk. If it is checking the validity of the Parity why are my 8 x Data drives not spun up like they were at first?

    If you have 4TB parity and 3TB data drives, then after the check gets beyond the 3TB those drives are done. If you have no 4TB data drives then it continues to verify that the rest of the parity drive is zero.
