(reiserfsck) help with rebuild tree

Featured Replies

Ive been having a lot of problems with disk2 in my unraid set up. didnt seem to matter which port it was in on mobo. tried new hdd and eventually had similar problems. tried new cables and new psu. tried new ram. updated bios just cuz i was running out of options. tried a new flash drive and new unraidOS didnt transfer settings...

I started to back up all my data to completely start fresh with my server. same hardware but i wanted everything to be wiped off and just start over and create new shares and all that jazz. I kept running into a problem trying to back up disk2  :o so i hooked up a monitor to the server and it says "REISERFS error (device md2): vs-5150 search_by_key: invalid format found in block 68976652.

That lead me to here http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=6264.0 and here http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Check_Disk_Filesystems

the scan says to run the rebuild tree and wiki says to ask for help and thats where I am. I also wanted to mention during my trouble shooting I have ran 3 preclear scans on this drive as well as the other drive i used for replacement. The one installed right now is the new its WD Red 1TB. I want to try and recover the data of course then after that I will wipe all the drives and start fresh! thanks
