July 26, 201411 yr Aside from unraid, I am using plugins of PhAzE, dynamix, unmenu. I have all these installed in my mnt/disk1. If I boot unraid without plugins, naturally, everything comes up quickly. I can access my tower in a few minutes. If I load the plugins, I thought it will be the unraid array that will come up first since it's inside the thumb drive. Instead, it boots all plugins installed in mnt/disk1 before allowing me to access array. Any particular reason for this? Is there anything I can do to change the sequence?
July 26, 201411 yr I doubt it as the unRAID emhttp process is responsible for starting the plugins as part of the UNRAID start-up process. Having said that I would expect the shares to become available a well before the GUI, especially as from your description they need to be available before the plugins can successfully start.
July 26, 201411 yr Author Hello itimpi, No, the shares aren't immediately up. Please note that I mentioned the plugins are in /mnt/disk1, and not in /mnt/user/Media/disk1 (share) since the share isn't immediately up. I did this before, and I ended up having sab, cp, sickbeard started, but can't find config files, and all, and I always start with the wizard. Exactly because share isn't up yet when the plugin loaded. That's the reason why I moved plugins to /mnt/disk1, so as not to wait for the share to be up.
July 26, 201411 yr No, the shares aren't immediately up. Are you sure? Just because the Web GUI isn't available doesn't mean the shares aren't available. If you open Windows Explorer and go to \\Tower\Disk1 does it not work either?
July 27, 201411 yr Author Um, by shares, I mean all drives seen as 1. E.g. I have a Media share, that is comprised of all my disks. That is not accessible. Windows Explorer don't see it. Telnet doesn't see it either. I didn't notice if individual drives are accessible or not.
