July 29, 201411 yr In the process of upgrading my server with some new used parts I've collected. Does anyone know if the Dell RAID controller card model #E2K-UCP-51 (B) will work with unRAID? I couldn't find a reference for it within the forums. Thanks!
July 29, 201411 yr In general, but not always, RAID cards that support JBOD work with unRaid. If this is a piece of gear you own suggest trying it out with the free license. If not, suggest getting one you know is compatible.
July 29, 201411 yr Author Bummer. I don't have any way of testing it unfortunately as I only have my one server box. I'll see what I can do in the meantime. Is there a card that is recommended for a small server? I'm looking to add another disk to my server (running pro w/6 disks) but I'm out of sata slots on the board. Debating on picking up a new board or going with a card.
July 29, 201411 yr From here it seems a 1068 firmware will work but it is known that the 1068 won't support drives >2.2TB. Check here for known good add-on cards.
