Trouble with new mariadb install

Featured Replies

I just recently switched to using docker and I am having issues getting mariadb up and running. Using gfjardim docker pluggin, I easily installed mariadb and have it running. The issue is that I cannot get a new database to be generated during my first use.

I have used mariadb before but I have always logged in and created users and databases via command line. Is this possible with the docker app? I have also tried connecting to mariadb through xbmc with the user:root and no password but I am still unable to connect to the database.

Thanks so much

I found it easy to use heidisql, a gui to log into mariadb and create users and passwords that way.
