I need to update my shares to export with AFP. When I go to the share settings I click on "Yes" in the export window under AFP Security Settings and hit apply. It acts like it is updating the information, but when it is done it just goes back to "no." the disks are set up to export AFT, but the share setting will not let me change it.

 

I am running version 5.0.5 and I can’t change it with any of my 3 computers. Also, this network is not connected to the internet, but that hasn't given me any problems before.

 

Any ideas or support is greatly appreciated.

Settings in the webGUI are written to flash. Maybe you have a corrupt flash drive and it cannot be written? Post a syslog.

To fix possible corruptions on your flash drive, put it in your PC and run checkdisk.

it was a corrupt flash drive and that fixed it, thanks for the help.
