Hey I've downloaded and installed CP with Transmission.

 

Everything is working well apart from that old files aren't getting deleted.

 

Transmission downloads to: /mnt/user/media/new

and CP copies them to: /mnt/user/media/movies

 

Everything is getting renamed and copied but the original files aren't being deleted.

 

I've googled about and people say its to do with permissions OR who is running the program. I sat it to nobody in both apps and I've just changed them to root. I'm going to see if this fixes it.

 

Has anyone had similar problems and have a fix?

Are you still seeding the torrents? You can't delete a file that is open.

You're right I think... how do I get transmission to stop seeding after its completed?

Some of the torrents I'm downloading are very old so Its not like theres anyone to even seed.

why isnt it deleting or how can i make it?
