A few months back I replaced a 2T drive on my system and lost no data during the process and posted accordingly

http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=32731.msg300481#msg300481

Recently I had some power outages that I suspect caused some data corruption on my new drive.

My system started to act strange and disk1 became read only which led me to some posts on the forum that helped me diagnose the problem and correct it with reiserfsck. I even had dumped some photos on the system (before it took a dive) from my recent vacation which disappeared but after I stabilized the system they were all in the lost and found folder.

All my other photos were backed up to copy.com so it was no the end of the world but a good scare.

Just wanted to say thanks for such an awesome piece of software and just as awesome support forum without this I would be sol.

Nope no UPS, I guess if the UPS did its job it would have saved all the time and effort.

Maybe that will be my next investment.

The community support here is a major reason I chose unRAID over the alternatives.  A UPS is my next investment, too.  I'm thinking something like this:

In theory my older system doesn't need pure sine wave / PFC support, but I don't want to limit my choices in the future.
