Identify Corrupt Data

In regards to my topic here:

I'm wondering if there is a specific way I can figure out which files are corrupt/having disk errors?

I backed up one disk in my system, but still have one bad disk which I need to recover files off of. It's hard to just pick and choose files, considering some give the disk read errors and freeze, while other files transfer fine. Is there anyway to identify these files or find out which ones I could use? Or any other advice would be helpful as well.
