Reboot button not showing

Featured Replies

Upgrading UnRaid from 4.7 to 5.05. Started buy copying the two files over. After bring up the unRaid and setting up the drives the first time I saw the "Reboot " and "shut down" buttons. However, after all the drives have spun down I no longer had the "Reboot " and "shut down" buttons as an option. No buttons. I spun up all the drives and the tried to spin down the drive still no "Reboot " and "shut down" buttons. Each time I waited more than appropriate amount of time for the array to spin up and spin down. The buttons only appeared during the array setup windows. I then tried a complete new install of the flash drive. Format , copy and run setup bat with the same results.

Also, I can not properly setup the shares. UnRaid will create the cfg files but the correct setting are not in the file. I turned SMB and set the workgroup.

And another weird thing. Even after formatting and installing a new fresh UnRaid it seems the Unraid strangely remembered some of the settings from the first attempt. No files were carried over for the UnRaid to reference to. Is there something still on the flash drive even after a full re formatting causing all my problems?

Any thoughts ?????

Are you spinning down the individual drives, or are you Stopping the array with the Stop button? You must Stop the array before the other buttons will appear.

Stopping the array. Also note, This is now basically a new setup. No data on the drives, fresh UnRaid install on the flash, no add-ins. I am resetting this up from scratch. I am concern somehow the UnRaid is picking up the old setting for 4.7 not sure how this can be done.

Thanking everyone in advance.

Not sure I completely understand, but it sounds like you may have corrupted your flash drive (which is where all the settings are stored) and unRAID will not write to it. Put it in your PC and run checkdisk on it.
