I was wondering what the best way to cleanly shutdown & restart unRAID is from a ssh session. I do have the clean powerdown APC script installed. I know you can type "reboot" "shutdown -h now" "halt" <- this is bad "powerdown". I just wanted to see what others are using to restart and shutdown unRAID from the CLI.

/sbin/powerdown

will call the clean powerdown script directly.

I think it's "powerdown -r" to safely reboot.

Yes "powerdown -r" to safely reboot from the server command line interface or omit the "-r" to safely shutdown the server.
