bdee1
I just decided to to a parity check because I haven't done one in a while and it seems to have stalled out at 40.5%. In addition the web guy is incredibly slow at the moment. I have posted my syslog below. Can someone please take a look and let me know their thoughts? I see a lot of disc read errors and timeouts so I am assuming that is bad. http://pastebin.com/embed_iframe.php?i=6KVDHaZg Link to comment
itimpi
That looks like a problem with the parity drive, and it has probably dropped offline. It could be something like a connection or power supply issue. I would shutdown the system, check all connections and bring it up again to see if that fixes an issue. Also a SMART report on the drive would be a good idea. Link to comment
bdee1
I have a spare drive so once I check the connections I may swap out the drive. Is there anything special I have to do to replace the parity drive or is it just like replacing a standard drive? Link to comment
