I would like to start this thread by saying thanks to MAG-Drive for getting me the information on his setup.  The setup is listed below and I have updated the wiki to point to this thread.

 

Tested Level: 2

6 SATA drives tested; Great board; Been running for over 1 month; Tested parity twice; Added drives; NO issues

                            Model:    Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L 775 ATX Motherboard
                             SATA:    4 ports
                            eSATA:    0 ports
Gigabit LAN/Jumbo Frame (chipset):    Yes/Yes (Realtek 8111C)
                       CPU socket:    Intel 775 (Perfect for Intel Celeron 35w proc)
                         Chipsets:    Intel G31/ICH7
                    Onboard Video:    Intel GMA 3100
                      Form Factor:    mATX

Notes: I also used a freebie 2 port SATA 150 & 1IDE PCI card that came with a Maxtor Drive (Promise chipset) to add the last 2 drives.

 

When i can get a syslog I will be sure to attach it below.
