August 27, 201411 yr I'm upgrading from 4.7 to 5.0.5...............finally But after I restarted the array, unRaid Main is now blank !!! What should I do?
August 27, 201411 yr Author Well, I rebooted the server, and now it seems to be fine Array is started, and I have set "enable auto start" in disk settings Now, I'm running New Permissions............it says it can be long, depending on the qty of files. Are we talking about a few minutes, 30 min, 1 hour or the whole night? Thanks

Thanks The answer is yes. It can take all night if you have millions of files. You should be able to gauge the progress, it updates the window as it moves from drive to drive.
August 28, 201411 yr Author Grrr........... Yes, I have a bunch of file (especially all those TV shows with so many seasons and up to 25 episodes by season) However, it's not millions of course I have something like 4TB of data Wait a minute: to check how much data I had, I went onto MyMain tab. And now, when I go back to UnRaid Main tab, it's a blank page again !!!!
August 28, 201411 yr Author OK, new permissions is completed.....took 35 min But i still have the issue with unRaid Main: it's a blank page !!!!

What do you get if you go directly to the unRAID Main page without using unMenu?
August 28, 201411 yr Author Well, I guess I'm confused between UnMenu and unRaid Main..... When I log in with Tower:8080, I have those different tabs. When I click on "unRaid Main", it works. But when I click on another tab (myMain for example) and come back to unRaid Main, the page is blank However, when I log in with Tower, I get the right page with the tabs Main, Shares, Users, Settings, Utils By the way, unRaid 5.0.5 is not beeping twice anymore when the array is ready?
August 28, 201411 yr By the way, unRaid 5.0.5 is not beeping twice anymore when the array is ready? Edit the go config file with unMenu and add 2 lines that just say "beep"
August 29, 201411 yr I see Restart UnMenu...Is it that one? I did it, but still have a blank page when I click on unRaid Main....!
August 29, 201411 yr OK, so 1.6 is the new version apparently, with new skins (vertical, horizontal) I have the old version then, where all the tabs are not arranged so nicely...but still, is it normal that my unRaid Main is blank, and why I do not see the "check for unMenu updates"? Anyway, I'm running headless, and accessing my server from my laptop (win 7 x64) and wifi How do I install the new unMenu rev1.6 in that case? Should I stop the array, and edit the flash with a specific editor? And should I remove any old version of unMenu, and if yes, how? Thanks
August 29, 201411 yr You can access the contents of the flash drive if you share it. Just go to the unRAID main page and click on the flash drive. That will take you to a page where you can configure sharing for the flash. Just follow the instructions on the unMenu download link.
August 29, 201411 yr Yoo hoo.......it works I've followed the instruction from the 1st link, and everything looks good I have to change my signature now, to show that I'm using 5.0.5 and not 4.7 Thanks guys
August 31, 201411 yr So now with 5.0.5, I could replace my motherboard with no problem, since Unraid is considering the serial number of each disk?
