beets on unraid 6?

Featured Replies

Is anyone working to make this happen? it seems popular enough to warrant inclusion but plugin creation is beyond me and overbyrn doesn't appear to be maintaining the 5.x version, let alone developing one for version 6.

in v6 it would be better served as a docker container which would be easy to roll

Fair enough. I read through the getting started tutorial and I think I can get an existing docker container to work, but creating one is still beyond me at this point.

I'm comfortable with setting up unraid, working with drives and troubleshooting errors, installing plugins and tweaking minor errors, changing configs, etc. I managed to get volumio and subsonic working on my raspberry pi and had to work through some wifi issues, if that gives you any further indication of my comfort level.

Beyond that I find myself needing to rely on the work of others to achieve my goal.

It should yes. Ideally we would want a unRAID enhanced version but that one will be 90% there and trivial to use.

If beets isnt in the docker request list it probably should be. Consider making a docker requets thread for it.
