8 hyperthreaded cores, DDR4 memory, and a very high speed bus controller (40 lanes at PCIe v3 speeds!) ==> you can certainly build a system that won't be CPU limited for anything that UnRAID will throw at it !!  :)

 

Can't find PassMark numbers for the 5960X yet, but the 6-core 4960X scores over 14,000, so clearly it's going to be rather nice  :)
