SMB security settings and web browsing help.

Hi

i have a small problem. i have some folder i would like to password protect. then i set it up that some users have access to those folders and some dont.

That is working great when users try to access the folder through network.

But here comes my problem

when users go through web browser example 192.168.1.200 then they press "shares" then they get a list with the folders.

when a user  click on a folder that is normal password protected for that user. no window pop up with a user login/passwordm instead they have full access to that folder

Am i doing anything wrong under the SMB security settings or do i have to set it up some other place. so they cant access those folders from a web browser

Regards

Brian

I think you may be seeing a case of this:  (from Tom's beta 7 release notes)
