[SOLVED] Unable to mount shares after upgrading VM Ubuntu server to 14 LTS

I have been running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server on Xen on Unraid 6 beta7.  I have upgraded the VM to Ubuntu server 14 and have been unable to mount any shares.  I tried adding "sec=ntlm" to my fstab entries as suggested after Googling this problem, but no luck.  I also removed and re-installed samba, still no go.  Any suggestions?

 

Solved by removing "noperm" from fstab entries.  No idea why this fixes the problem, but it does.
