Remove everything from previous Docker install

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm on B8 now.

And I want to remove my folder /mnt/cache/docker and then maybe start docker in the new way B8 provides.

I like to clean out everything that docker have created on my system from B7, and then create docker with the images file.

But I get this error when do rm -r docker

rm: cannot remove ‘docker/btrfs/subvolumes/8e8d3bc39f79fb8b072f1b22e36a99dbf61e4e4cf6335690dfb6c2ee3b0590c9’: Operation not permitted

Did you do that :

(assuming /mnt/cache/docker is your docker volume from beta7)

btrfs subvolume delete /mnt/cache/docker/btrfs/subvolumes/*

rm -r /mnt/cache/docker

You need to use the btrfs sub volume delete command first.
