"Frozen" cache drive (no temperature reported)

Featured Replies

Looks like I have a "Frozen" cache drive....

This is a new SSD - newer used in an unRAID setting before.

This isn't a mechanical drive so the manufacturer likely didn't add a temperature sensor. You'd likely have to externally cook the drive until the chips were >70*C to cause an operating problem with it.

Looks like I got a really cheap SSD, all my other SDD's used in an unRAID setup did report a temperature hence the question.

Marking as solved as your SSD doesn't seem to have a temp sensor ;-).
