Another for fun thread (although this one will hopefully be less controversial) :)

 

SSD is coming we all know this. At some point in the not so distant future SSD prices will be similar to per GB we have now. Notice i dont say competitive cause i believe normal HDD will stay cheaper per GB for a good bit longer as they increase in capacity.

 

So whats better for the NAS builder... whos heard some cool, things about then... anyone got one.... and anything else relevant. :)

So heat isnt going to be a problem anymore. Probably not power either, and since they are 2.5" neither will be space.
