For fun: SSD is the future

Another for fun thread (although this one will hopefully be less controversial)

 

SSD is coming we all know this. At some point in the not so distant future SSD prices will be similar to per GB we have now. Notice i dont say competitive cause i believe normal HDD will stay cheaper per GB for a good bit longer as they increase in capacity.

 

So whats better for the NAS builder... whos heard some cool, things about then... anyone got one.... and anything else relevant.

So heat isnt going to be a problem anymore. Probably not power either, and since they are 2.5" neither will be space.
