September 5, 201411 yr My cache disk has been dropping into R/O mode with b7 and throwing up a ton of sata frozen/reset errors on b8. I decided to remove it and put my btrfs externally mounted drive in the cache slot. UNRAID thought the drive was unformatted because it stated the drive FS was reiserfs. The drive didn't appear as expected until I clicked on the cache drive link and changed the FS to btrfs. It may be a good idea on adding a drive to see if the drive is formatted for one of the supported file systems and switch to it automatically. Would prevent against confusion of people wondering why the drive is displaying as unformatted. Then after adding, they have the option to change the FS to something else and have it formatted.
