Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere in the roadmap forum and subforums, but a search did not show anything immediately related.

 

After going through an issue where a data drive was suffering from READ errors but not WRITE errors (documented here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=35014.0 ), the following feature is part of a larger feature set to bring this situation to the user's attention as early as possible.

 

Ability to easily reconstruct a drive onto another drive

 

This should not require the drive being replaced to be marked as disabled.
