Lost SSH access to VM. Any other way to view VM?

Featured Replies

I spent the entire day yesterday setting up my VM and installing applications. This morning i shutdown my unraid server to do some maintenance. When I booted up I discovered that I could not ssh into my Ubuntu VM. I think its getting stuck on boot of VM. I can ping the VM. I ran a port scan and nothing is open on the VM.

Is there any other way I can view the machine to see where it is stuck and troubleshoot further?

Man I hope so!

In unraid console type

xl list

This will show you all the VM's mine is called "ubuntu" so I type the following to connect to the VM's console

xl console ubuntu

Easy as that.
