Just fired up the machine. Damn the norco's are loud. I found four on newegg that are about 1700 rpm, 32CFM, and about 15dBa.

Straight up no competition... Noctua. A bit pricey but we'll worth it. Very quiet and good flow at high static pressure

Will have to do more research.

i'd focus more on review sites than marketing info.  that isn't to say SilentX are bad or exaggerating, just that if you want a lot of info for something like fans, you'll want to read some of the review sites on that topic.

Agree with this 100%.  Noctua fans are hard to beat.

I'll admit though, what I can find about the SilenX is good sounding, especially if they are cheaper.  But right now all I can find is 120mm reviews not 80mm

as stated, never take marketing as truth. its often exaggerated or tested in unconventional conditions that will never be repeatable.

Noctua and only Noctua. Don't even look at Silenx - their parameters are simply lie.
