September 18, 201411 yr I think at one time i was using the power down script in conjunction with acupsd to safely shutdown. I'm no longer using it and don't have the plugins installed but now the buttons are grayed out. running 6 beta 9 syslog.txt
September 18, 201411 yr When this happens, I generally have to reload the Main page, by pressing Enter in the location box. I use Firefox, Dynamix, v5.0.5, but I'm not sure if any of that matters. I have this happen fairly often. For some reason, just refreshing the page does not fix it.

I booted in safe mode which does not load plugins at all and attached new syslog.

Don't know what you tell you, but the current syslog clearly states safe mode was invoked, but it still is showing this. Sounds to me like a bug in the implementation of safemode, at the very least. Have you tried loading the webpage on another computer to see if the checkboxes to enable the buttons are available on another machine?

September 26, 201411 yr set it back to default, that fixed it! thanks! Try toggling it back the way you had it, and see if the buttons show up active. I suspect there is something broken in the code.
