cirkator
Hi, I can not connect to my Syncthing docker. Chrome and Firefox both are showing the "Connection unavailable" error. I can connect to all my other dockers just fine. What i did so far: Change the port of unMENU from 8080 to 81. Tried connecting to Syncthing with port 8080 and https 8080 Tried redirecting port 8080 to 44444 and https 44444 How can I get the log of the docker? EDIT: I just figured out how to get the log (right click on the docker in Extensions Menu) pastebin log Quote Link to comment
generalz
its saying there is no /config in the logs. do you have a /mnt/cache/appdata/syncthing dir and can you write to that dir? Quote Link to comment

JustinChase
I'm not seeing syncthing in the templates listing. Am I missing it, or is it not in there? I suppose I can do it 'old school', but I figured I'd check first. Quote Link to comment
cirkator
You have to refresh the template. Can't remember exactly how it's done and the procedure changed with one of the recent updates to the Docker template plug in, but I am sure you will succeed :-) If not, I'll be home in a couple of hours... JustinChase
Ah, okay. I'll look into how to do that. In the meantime, I used the SAB template as a base, then just modified the docker location and port information, and that seemed to work. I have syncthing running now. however, when I used SAB as a base, i used all the image and documentation also, so I have the SAB icon and banner for syncthing Hoepfully when i find out how to update the templates, I can just 'start over' with syncthing and get this all cleaned up. At least it's working though Quote Link to comment

JustinChase
thanks for the guidance. I already had the repo in the right place on the extension page, and I found what looked to be the latest one, and pasted it over what I had there, and it seemed to be the exact same link. But, stopping docker, and restarting did add the syncthing template to the list. Not sure why, but who cares?!? It's in there now. I ended up having to delete the png images from /config/plugins/dockerMan/images, but now I have a working syncthing and images. thanks for this. Quote Link to comment
JustinChase
is it 'okay' to add EDGE = 1 in this docker, to get and use the latest version, or will EDGE not work with this one? I see there is a new version offered, but I don't want to update unless I know it's 'okay' Quote Link to comment
