Hi everyone,

 

So I am running Vrs 5.0.5 of Unraid.

 

I just installed 4 new disks - replacing 3TB with 6TB Seagate drives.

 

After completing the install I ran the new permissions utility app and it finished.

 

After that I can't copy anything to my server. It keeps coming up with this message:

 

"Items can't be copied to __ because you don't have permission to read them."

 

Can anyone point me to a thread or suggest a way forward?

Did you run parity checks after each rebuild? Otherwise there is no confirmation that the rebuilds were successful. Disk3 has read errors and disk 8 has a file system problem. Which disks were replaced?

Ok so after doing a full parity check - that wasn't done between drives being installed - I now have a RED ball next to my Parity drive with 576 errors.

Hopefully you still have your old drives intact. It's probable that the rebuild of one or more disks is corrupt.

Place all of the original disks back in the server. And then build and check parity.
